Food is an important part of many of our holiday celebrations. In 2021, MOM provided Thanksgiving meals to 246 households. Dinners include all the Thanksgiving classics as well as other items so neighbors can choose their family and cultural favorites. We are grateful to the support of our dedicated volunteers and generous donors who make this possible.
Please watch your email in October or check back to see how you can help people in our community have access to wonderful Thanksgiving meals!
Share the joy of the holiday season by participating in MOM’s Winter Wishes Program!
MOM matches community members with program participants. Participants suggest three stores or businesses they would like a gift card from and community members then purchase one $50 card per family or household member. The gift cards are packaged in gift bags with optional special touches, such as handwritten notes, socks, candy or other holiday treats. The gift bags are collected in mid-December and then distributed to participants soon after- with enough time for participants to purchase gifts for their loved ones. Last year, donors like you made the holidays brighter for over 1600 neighbors in our community.
This is a wonderful, fun opportunity for co-workers, teams, families and organizational groups to come together to make the holidays special for people in our community! Watch your email in November for information about how to sign up to and get involved.
