Luis and Alejandra left behind an unstable economic and political situation in Venezuela with dreams of a better life for their 8-year-old daughter and the baby they were soon expecting. Connections is a housing program that aims to support households that are in doubled-up living arrangements to transition into stable permanent housing. Doubling-up is when an individual or family lives with another household temporarily or shuffles between homes because of economic or system barriers.

MOM offers a range of programs that can help create stability including our Food Pantry, Clothing Center, Housing Stabilization Program, Winter Wishes, Back to School, Thanksgiving Baskets and more. Our work is only possible through the support of individuals, businesses, churches and other groups who volunteer and provide financial and other support.

Monique, a single mother of four children, was laid off from her job at a local hotel when the Covid pandemic hit in March of 2020. After living with a friend for a month, Monique found herself with nowhere to go. That's when she reached out to MOM.
