Seniors Program

Seniors Program

MOM's Seniors Program aims to support seniors' (60+) ability to live independently.

In order to be eligible for the Seniors Program, you must live within MOM's Service Area and be 60 or older.  There are no income limits. Advance registration is required. Some restrictions apply.

Please contact the Seniors Program Manager Laurie Horton for more information at 608-826-3405

Transportation Assistance:

Volunteer drivers provide rides to a local destination, such as a medical appointment or grocery store.

Food Pantry Delivery:

By calling at least three business days in advance, a registered senior can receive a delivery from the MOM food pantry, consisting of items chosen by the senior from a menu of options.

Home Chore Assistance:

Groups of volunteers provide assistance with yard work and other seasonal upkeep. Individual volunteers also provide regular housework assistance to eligible seniors. There may be a wait list for this assistance.

Friendly Phone Visiting:

To reduce social isolation and its associated health risks, seniors are matched with volunteers for a regular weekly phone chat.
