Volunteers are the heart of MOM and vital to the success of all programs. Listed below (more urgent openings listed first) are our current volunteer opportunities for Individuals who are able to commit to volunteering on a regular and on-going basis. Seniors Transportation

Help Seniors maintain independence by providing an occasional ride in a timely, courteous, and friendly manner. Volunteer once a week or once a month, whichever fits into your schedule! Weekdays only.

Sweep/clean the Food Pantry

Help us make the Food Pantry shine when it re-opens for client shopping the next morning! Join several other volunteers and help Sweep/Clean the Food Pantry after it closes each Tuesday or Thursday afternoons, from 1:30-4 pm, once a week, or every other week. Sweep the floors, wipe down food counter-tops, mop floors, straighten client waiting area and Volunteer Room, etc.

Food Pantry Client Host

Assist MOM clients through the food pantry shopping aisles, in a courteous manner. Training provided. Join a great group of MOM volunteers! Click on "Show More" button below for prerequisites and which days/times are most available.

Food Pantry Inventory Support

Join a great group of MOM volunteers! Help ready the food pantry to open for client shopping mid-morning, and that shelves and food storage areas remain organized during pantry open hours. Ensure that food deliveries are processed efficiently, that shelves are well stocked and organized with a variety of items. Training provided. Moderate to heavy lifting required (25+ lbs) and ability to stand for 2 or more hours.

Home Chores for Seniors

Help senior citizens maintain household independence by providing help with light home chores. Share your time with a senior for a couple of hours, once or twice a month. 

This is a great volunteer opportunity for an individual volunteer, a family, or older high school students!
