Seniors Driver

Help Seniors maintain independence by providing an occasional ride in a timely, courteous, and friendly manner. Volunteer once a week or once a month, whichever fits into your schedule!

Front Desk Reception - Main Office

Our Main Office Front Desk reception volunteers answer phones, greet and help with client walk-ins and other inquiries, assist with client programs, schedule client appointments, help with general office work at our Main Office, accept donations when the adjacent Distribution Center is closed. Extensive training provided by "shadowing" with an experienced volunteer.

Use your Design Skills to End Hunger!

Want to be part of Canstruction® but can't form a team to build a structure?

  • Instead you can Use your Design Skills to End Hunger!
  • Architects and designers are needed to help a sponsored team
  • The Canstruction® Design Expert acts as a consultant to a Canstruction® Team providing the Team with design and build expertise.
What is Canstruction Madison?
  • Be part of one of the best team-building and innovative community events in Dane County.
  • Canstruction® is a philanthropic art exhibition where larger-than-life structures are made entirely out of full cans of food, and set up throughout West Towne Mall for the entire community to enjoy. 
  • Scheduled for April 24-30, 2017 at West Towne Mall, this year's theme brings the red carpet to town with "Can Film Festival", and needs your energy and creativity!

Volunteer Opportunity:


Clothing Center

Have a passion for fashion?  Help sort donations and hang clothing at our Distribution Center. Help keep our Clothing Center appealing for the over 200 people who shop there monthly. Current openings:

. Thursdays - early afternoons, once a week

. Substitute volunteer - once a week, but on varying weekdays each week

Volunteer Opportunity:


Food Pantry - Inventory Support

To ensure that all food pantry shelves are organized and well stocked with a variety of items. Sort food from deliveries, donations and food rescue from area merchants. Some positions, particularly late mornings on Saturdays, include restocking the shelves so they are full for client shopping. Hope you can help!

Wednesday morning opening, weekly, for someone able to lift 40-50 lbs.

Food Pantry - Client Host

Assist MOM clients through the food pantry aisles as they shop for food.
