Building Games from Food to Help MOM

Looking for a way to do some team building while also giving back to the community? If so, Sketchworks Architecture recently tried out a fun way to donate food to those in need that your business or other group might want to try.

Sketchworks Architecture decided to turn a food drive into something more. Employees donated food—but then they took it another step. They spent a day at their office using these food items—and a few other supporting materials—to transform their food into a mini-golf and arcade experience. Boxes of pasta and cans of soup along with cardboard strips soon became mini-golf holes and skee ball games. At the end of their event, the nonperishable food items were donated to MOM to help those struggling to provide food for their families. What a great way to have some fun with co-workers while also doing something that makes a real difference for those most in need in our community!
