Leave a Legacy and Join the Legacy Society

On October 1, 2012, MOM will establish the Legacy Society to recognize those individuals who have arranged to make a future gift to MOM as well as those deceased individuals who have already left a legacy to MOM.  Between now and October 1, MOM is asking those individuals who already have made future gift plans to MOM to identify themselves so that MOM can invite them to join the Legacy Society as Charter Members.

After October 1, 2012, individuals immediately will become Legacy Society members upon their notification to MOM that they have made plans, as evidenced by a written document, to make a future gift to MOM.  Individuals are not asked to share such documents with MOM. Further, deceased individuals who have left a legacy gift to MOM will be recognized a Legacy Society members.

Typically, individuals make a future gift to MOM via…
1.      A will or trust,
2.      A life insurance policy, or
3.      A named beneficiary to a retirement plan or IRA.

MOM will be happy to discuss other future gift options that you may be considering.
