Donate Goods Preventing Homelessness

All in-kind donations can be dropped off at the Distribution Center. Contact our main office with general questions at 608-836-7338.

Clothing Center

MOM gratefully accepts gently used, good-quality clothes for the Clothing Center that are in season only. We accept fall ad winter clothes from September 1st through March 31st. We accept spring and summer clothes from  April 1st until August 31st. Thank you for adhering to these rules as our space is very limited and we want to get as many clothes out as we possibly can to those that need them.

Household Items and Linens

Other items we appreciate for donation include: dishes and glasses in sets; pots, pans and baking equipment; all items that help serve and prepare food (non-electrical, please); children's books and cook books for our waiting room. We also are in great need of linens, such as bath and hand towels; wash rags; twin, double and queen size sheets, cases, blankets, quilts and mattress pads; shower curtains and liners; bath mats and rugs; and baby linens and blankets.

School Supplies

School supplies are collected during the summer months to help prepare kids for school through our School Supply Program.

Emergency Gift Cards

We take donations of gas, long-distance phone, convenience store, and grocery store gift cards to give to people in emergencies.

Gather items and put together kits that we can give to our customers.  Kits we are always looking for include:

Wrapping Supplies or Holiday Kits (wrapping paper, tape, bows, lights, ornaments, etc.),

Senior Kits (personal health care items, snacks, small packets of cookies, crossword puzzles, pens, stamps, stationary, teas, coffees, hot chocolate, gift certificates, etc.),

Personal Care items (individual items or put into Personal Care Kits)

Gift Cards (gasoline, grocery stores, drug stores). These donations should be brought to MOM's Distribution Center, except for Senior Kits and gift cards which should be brought to MOM's Main Office.

Baby Kits (wipes, diaper cream, infant diapers, pacifiers, Onesies, sleepers, baby blankets, socks, rattles, bottles with nipples)

Contact a Case Manager for more information at 608-836-7338.
