Donate Food Ending Hunger

MOM is always in need of food for the Food Pantry. MOM's Food Pantry allows individuals and families to self select food and personal hygiene items.

In 2010:

• Over half of the food we gave out through the Food Pantry programs was donated through Food Drives and everyday donations
• There were 8,000 household visits to the Pantry, and we distributed nearly 215 tons, or 11 semi trucks worth of food.
• Approximately 100 bags of groceries were provided for customers everyday the pantry was open.
• There was a 31% increase in people using the Food Pantry and it's programs.
• 45% of people served at the Food Pantry were children.

Donation Guidelines

We accept all food (perishable and non-perishable), household cleaners and detergents, diapers, paper products and personal hygiene products. Please, no home prepared food, open containers, glass containers or expired food. Printable Donation Guidelines (PDF)

We do take donations of fresh produce, dairy and meat, and do encourage people to donate food that they grow themselves in their gardens.
