About Us
MOM is a non-profit that is leading a community-wide effort to prevent homelessness and end hunger for people throughout Middleton, West Madison and Cross Plains. Through the support of business partners, area schools and faith communities, as well as numerous individuals and service organizations, MOM provides - free of charge - food, clothing, housing assistance, emergency financial assistance, and special services for seniors.
Quick Facts
- Every day the Food Pantry is open, we distribute nearly 180 bags of food.
- In it's third year, the MOM Food Pantry Garden is again home to "client plots" where our customers are learning to grow food. Some of their produce is donated back to the Food Pantry and the rest feeds their families.
- In 2011, 50 people volunteered more than 100 hours during the year and over 100 businesses either volunteered or hosted a Food Drive for the MOM Food Pantry.
Our Stories
School Supplies made the Difference
Each fall when Tahkaney received school supplies from MOM, she thought about her caring neighbors and community. Their support not only helped her hardworking family, it motivated her to do her best at school. She received a full scholarship to Stanford University, where she will be entering her Sophomore year this fall. Read more of her story.
